Antec Controls has a diverse team of engineers which includes mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. SpecialsDesigner(Entry Level)– Antec Controls

We are looking for apassionate and energetic Specials Designer who can solve problems efficientlyand deliver excellent customer service.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
Working directly with sales representatives, contractors, techniciansand owners on understanding client’s needs.

Designproduct solutions that meet special customer requirements.

Provide special quotations,product submittals, and documentsto supportAntec Controls representatives.

Prepareand coordinate manufacturingdetailsandassistproductionas neededto ensure smooth delivery ofspecial solutions.

Expand standard product offering for common special requests through theproduct development process.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail.
• A high levelof critical thinking and accountability
• Innovative, self-motivated and demonstratesthe ability to take initiative.
• Aptitude and desire for customer service excellence.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
• Proficiencyin 3D CAD software and MS Office applications.
• A basic understanding of HVAC, controls and mechanical systems would be an asset.
• Aptitude with hand toolswould be considered an asset.
