About the role

The team at Laivly is looking for aPeople Operations Coordinatorto support and elevate the day-to-day experience of our People & Culture team.

The role sits at the intersection of operations and people. You’ll be responsible for keeping our systems, processes, and workflows running smoothly, while also being visible, approachable, and a trusted presence for our broader team members.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how employees experience Laivly, from their first day through ongoing engagement. That means owning the details behind the scenes, but also stepping forward to create welcoming, organized, and high-quality experiences, especially when it comes to onboarding, communication, and team support.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, is detail oriented and highly organized, but also thrives on interaction, building relationships, and being part of a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

This position isWinnipeg-based and hybrid, with regular in-office presence expected (at minimum once a week) to support onboarding, team events, and operational needs.

As People Operations Coordinator***,***you will…

  • Own the day-to-day administration of HR systems including BambooHR and related tools

  • Manage employee lifecycle documentation including offer letters, employment changes, and records

  • Coordinate recruiting logistics including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications

  • Support candidate screening through initial phone interviews for selected roles

  • Lead and support onboarding experiences, ensuring new hires feel welcomed, prepared, and set up for success

  • Be a go-to resource for employees, supporting questions, requests, and day-to-day People & Culture needs

  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and assist with reporting and compliance tracking

  • Support People & Culture with engagement programs, planning team events, and internal initiatives

  • Help bring culture to life by supporting recognition programs, onboarding sessions, and team experiences

  • Coordinate logistics including shipments, event materials, and internal communications

  • Provide light operational support to Finance including assistance with reconciliations and administrative documentation

As People Operations Coordinator, you have…

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR coordination, People Operations, recruiting coordination, or administrative operations

  • Experience working with HR systems such as BambooHR, Rippling, Workday, or similar platforms

  • Experience supporting recruiting coordination and international candidate management

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and operational workflows simultaneously

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and internal systems

  • A high level of discretion when handling confidential information

  • A proactive mindset and a passion for learning & growth

  • High proficiency with tools, technologies, and digital automations, with a natural aptitude for navigating and optimizing complex systems
