What you’ll do:
The "Services Delivery Director, Professional Services (SDD, PS)”, performs in a leadership capacity within their assigned consulting services team. The SDD will help achieve specified business targets, provide delivery governance, project oversight, and support the deal execution process. In this role, the SDD would:
- Manage their teams and develop the talent potential of each team member and comply with SAPs high standards of administrative and cultural excellence.
- Effectively collaborate with other departments of SAP and externally with partners and Systems Integrators consistent with SAP’s Customer Engagement Lifecycle (CEL).
- Coordinate PMO and Engagement Delivery staffing / resource allocation across MU including working with Services Sales leadership and other Services Delivery leadership to proactively determine upcoming Services needs and identify potential deficiencies
- Manage Market Unit financials including utilization, revenue forecasting and meeting budget metrics.
- Work with Solution Center and pursuit teams to ensure proposal margin, staffing and timeline meets Market Unit targets.
- Work with Finance team and PMO teams to keep red projects to a minimum and projects where there is revenue leakage to a minimum.
- Participate as point of escalation for Services Sales and License Sales when project issues are identified, and SAP management is needed to help resolve issues
- Position SAP Services in support of the success of the customer.
- Partner with delivery teams, sales and customer account teams to ensure the execution of customer value-based adoption plans to ensure customer success through the adoption of SAP solutions
- Drive our delivery teams to build innovation strategies with our customers which use AI and other SAP innovations
- Ensure delivery is executed which ensures customers follow SAP clean core principles
- Ensure compliance in delivery with SAP services and partners using the SAP RISE Methodology.
- Ensure performance and development goals are in place for team members which align to SAP’s strategic goals and ensure customer success.
What you bring:

10+ years SAP services sales and implementation experience including services management experience.

SAP implementation and team leadership experience required.

Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customer executive level, preferably C-level customers.

Ability to effectively manage and resolve customer escalations.

Experience working in a global organization and proven record leading virtual and cross-cultural teams
-
Experience working in project delivery with a cloud-first delivery approach

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
