As anOracle EBS Supply Chain Specialist, you will bring functional expertise to manage, configure, and support Oracle E-Business Suite SCM modules (INV, OM, PO, WIP, MRP, BOM) to optimize procurement, inventory, and order management processes within our business.
The Oracle EBS Supply Chain Specialist works closely with the cross functional teams to maintain, optimize and enhance our Oracle EBS applications with a focus on Supply Chain. The Specialist works with management, customers, and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release. er investments for the product.
What you'll do:
- Configure, support, and optimize Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules including Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), and Order Management (OM).
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping to support Oracle EBS enhancements and implementations.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria to guide development and system configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle EBS functional and technical issues, utilizing SQL and PL/SQL to investigate data, workflows, and system performance.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, workflows, business process documentation, and solution design artifacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, QA, and IT teams to support system integrations and continuous improvements.
- Support system testing activities including test planning, test case development, execution, defect tracking, and validation for enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Monitor and manage application backlogs, system issues, patches, and upgrades to ensure stable and reliable Oracle EBS operations.
- Deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to support adoption and effective use of Oracle EBS systems.
- Analyze system and operational data to support decision-making, identify process improvement opportunities, and enhance supply chain performance.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and/or Canada
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 of experience configuring, customizing, and maintaining Oracle EBS environments
- Hands-on experience with Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), and Order Management (OM), supporting 2+ modules or 1+ full-cycle implementation.
- 2+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle environments.
- Experience developing 3+ customizations using Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Workflow, Interfaces, XML Publisher, or FSG Reports.
- Experience in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE/OBIA), used in 2+ reporting or analytics projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or business roles supporting Oracle EBS systems
- Ability to travel up to 10% to support multiple operational sites
Desired Skills
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12.x environments
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS within aviation MRO or manufacturing environments
- Understanding of supply chain business processes and their implementation within Oracle EBS
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into functional system solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in technical and business environments
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and independently when required
