We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the Sales team. In this role, you will lead proactive
outbound prospecting efforts, build new pipeline from the ground up, and drive high‑value opportunities
through consultative, solution‑driven selling. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to
position our offerings effectively, engage executive‑level stakeholders, and advance qualified opportunities.
The ideal candidate is… a driven, consultative B2B sales professional with strong outbound expertise and a track record of closing complex deals with executives and C‑suite leaders. You excel at discovery, articulating data‑backed value, delivering compelling presentations, and managing a disciplined pipeline. Your ability to uncover client needs will directly influence revenue growth and organizational success.
We are a virtual organization and as a remote worker you must be comfortable and able to work 100 per cent of the time from a home office in Canada. To be successful as a remote worker you need to have a self-starter attitude, possess strong organizational and time management skills and be a proactive communicator. Having a home office environment that provides for a productive, professional, and safe work environment during regular working/business hours is a requirement of this role. This includes internet service and a reliable connection.
About The Role Some of the things you will do every day:
- Drive sales performance for Signal49 Research subscription-based products or membership-based products.
- Lead outbound campaigns to actively promote and sell subscription-based product or membership-based products.
- Follow-up and qualify contacts from web registrations, promotions, events and other marketing and sales activities.
- Use vertical knowledge and industry insights to confidently discuss Signal49’s subscription-based products or membership-based products.
- Research prospective customers to identify contacts and roles with decision-making authority.
- Actively use social media, email, phone, and various creative customer engagement approaches to secure scheduled appointments.
- Strategize and collaborate with internal colleagues and stakeholders.
- Update tracking systems and tools with customer information, sales activities, and opportunity details to use for account planning purposes.
- Act as an ambassador for Signal49 to our clients and provide them with superior world-class customer experience.
- Commitment to producing high quality work and demonstrating professional values in all aspects of work and interactions with colleagues and customers.
About You Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B sales.

Completion of post-secondary education in business administration, marketing, or sales related discipline.

Proven record of prospecting for new business by actively executing regular outbound sales activity (calls, emails, securing booked appointments).

Demonstrated experience selling intangible, consultative, or SaaS adjacent/solution driven offerings.

Proven experience building excellent client relationships to the VP-level and C-suite decision makers.

Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed performance objectives.

Advanced communication skills, both orally and written.

Proficiency using CRM platforms to manage pipelines and track activity. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is considered an asset.

Familiarity with sales outreach tools, Sales Navigator, and digital sales workflows.

The hiring zone for this position is $67,320-$79,200 for candidates from any Canadian province or territory. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, specific skillsets, as well as market and business considerations.
