Salary Range: $41.82 - $52.27 /hour
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Managers for Research Operations in the role of the “Research Coordinator 3 (Research Navigator)”.
The Research Navigator expedites the start-up and streamlines the maintenance of research projects by providing a comprehensive concierge service. As a dedicated point of contact, the Navigator bridges communication between research teams and administration, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. With expertise in study conduct, regulatory compliance, and research processes, the Navigator proactively supports researchers, reducing administrative burdens and promoting compliance with hospital and academic standards.
Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in health-related field, Life Sciences, or Business

Three years of experience in clinical research
-
Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and planning skills to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and have the ability to deal with confidential matters.

Experience in the preparation and management of budgets; Incumbent must have strong math and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate effectively general and scientific information both verbally and in writing at all levels.

Ability to work independently and make decisions. Good judgement, initiative, tact and professional attitude in the workplace.

Adaptable, flexible and resourceful. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in science or business
-
Project Management Certification
-
Certified Clinical Research Professional
-
Familiarity with LHRI policies and procedures an asset
-
Familiarity with national, international and provincial research funding agencies/ organizations that fund research would be a strong asset.

Demonstrated ability to lead and work in teams, e.g. including faculty, staff, students and residents.

Experience with soliciting funds and contributions from corporations, foundations and individuals
The incumbent will maintain certification in:
-
CPR training
-
WHMS training
-
Shipping of Dangerous Goods training
Immunization Requirements:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
