Are you ready?

Your role

Under the direction of the coordinating director, you will be called upon to apply your creativity, initiative, and judgment — all within an Olympic environment.

We are looking for various directing talents:

  • Sports Editing Room Director.
  • Avid Editing Room Director.
  • Sports Editing Room Assistant.
  • Avid Editing Room Assistant.

Irregular hours: day, evening, night, and weekends.

Please note these are temporary positions. These hires are being made in connection with the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympic Games.

Duration and location of the mandate: The positions are based in Montreal at the Maison de Radio-Canada. The duration of employment may be up to 5 weeks with the possibility of extension in Montreal.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

Qualifications:

  • University degree or a combination of relevant education and professional experience
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in related tasks

Skills:

  • Strong news sense and good judgment in summarizing sports events
  • Ability to demonstrate originality and creativity in editing and directing
  • Solid understanding of how sports events unfold
  • Willingness to work long hours
  • Good stress management skills
  • Versatile
  • Exemplary leadership skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Previous experience working on the Olympic Games (an asset)
  • Bilingualism (an asset)
