The Marketing Project Coordinator is based in Markham, ON and reports to the Manager, Creative Services. This role is responsible to manage the intake and tracking of all marketing and communication projects and ensuring smooth coordination across projects, teams, and content timelines. This role acts as the organizational hub for marketing initiatives—tracking progress, maintaining schedules, and supporting digital and social media operations. It is well-suited for someone early in their career (2 years of experience) who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn about digital marketing and corporate communications.
Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Coordinate marketing and communications projects across teams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and approvals are met.
- Track and manage progress of all projects and campaigns, including follow-ups between marketing team members and clients
- Maintain and update project boards (e.g., Monday.com) to provide visibility into ongoing campaigns and content schedules.
- Support digital marketing operations, including social media scheduling, digital signage updates, and content posting.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather inputs and follow up on deliverables for content, design, and communications initiatives.
- Assist with administrative aspects of project management (e.g., tracking invoices, preparing reports, updating task lists).
- Support planning meetings and help with performance metrics or post-campaign evaluations.
- Other duties as required by the Manager, Creative Services
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in schedules, content, and reporting.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain clear documentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for liaising with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adjusting to changing priorities.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams and fosters positive relationships.
- Proactive Mindset: Takes initiative to follow up on tasks and identify potential issues early.
Competency Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, and or Project Management
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and digital content workflows.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to track multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new tools and platforms
Skills, Abilities, And Other Requirements
