Michel Germain Parfums is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Executive Director, Warehouse & Production to lead our warehouse, production and fulfillment operations at our facility located approximately 35 minutes outside Ottawa, Ontario.
This is a hands-on senior leadership role for an operational leader who can build strong teams, improve processes, ensure product quality, strengthen inventory and shipping accuracy, and create a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Lead
- Day-to-day warehouse, production, fulfillment and related operational activities.
- Managers, supervisors and front-line teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Employee retention, coaching and engagement practices that create an accountable, supportive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Order accuracy, on-time shipping, inventory control, labour planning and production flow.
- Operational KPIs, process improvement, workplace safety and quality standards.
- Cross-functional coordination with procurement, logistics, sales, ecommerce, regulatory and customer service teams.
Success Measures
- On-time shipping, order accuracy and inventory accuracy.
- Production output, throughput and labour productivity.
- Quality performance, safety compliance and cost control.
- Continuous improvement, team engagement and operational reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, production, distribution, manufacturing, fulfillment or supply chain operations.
- Experience leading managers, supervisors and front-line teams.
- Strong knowledge of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, inventory control and value-added processing.
- Working knowledge of hazardous materials management and Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements.
- Production or light manufacturing experience, preferably in consumer goods, beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, personal care or another quality-focused environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to improve performance while building an engaged team culture.
