Leavens Volkswagen is looking for a Servicer Dispatcher/Internal Service Advisor

Pay Range:

• $40,000 - $55,000 Annually

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Establish and maintain an efficient repair system, either manually or overseeing automatic dispatch
• Organize the shop work schedule in such a way as to maximize productivity, in keeping with dealership policy, while fairly distributing work.
• Establish and verify priorities for all returns to the shop, to ensure that they are given immediate and appropriate attention.
• Ensure that each work order is fully and appropriately documented with the complaint, the cause and the corrective action, price quote, customer signature as well as the time required for each operation.
• Frequently check how the work is progressing and notify the Service Advisor and/or the customer of any change in the estimated time needed for completion of the work or the cost indicated in the estimate.
• Warranty coding of work orders following OEM warranty guidelines.
• Responsible for Warranty reviews and Warranty Schedule Reviews.
• Keep a detailed and up to date log of the repairs.
• Prepare estimates as necessary, for customers and internal customers.
• Operates as an internal coordinator – ensuring that pre-owned vehicles are serviced appropriately and determining if they require safeties or meet CPO standards.
• Examine the paper copies of the work orders handed in by the technicians, to ensure that the work described has been performed and that the work orders have been correctly completed.
• Ensure that the technicians comply with the warranty conditions.
• Prepare a list of equipment, supplies and repairs needed by the Service Department and check it with their manager.
• Coordinates needs for parts with the parts department; contacts customers who have ordered special parts as soon as the parts come in, in order to arrange appointments.
• Reports any frequent shortages to the Parts and Service managers, so that the situation can be corrected.
• Preparing daily service reports are requested.
• Oversees Rust and Corrosion responsibilities
• Ensures that appropriate codes have been entered into PBS following OEM Requirements.

Requirements:

• Technical automotive knowledgeable and work experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Outgoing and patient personality with good client relations ability.
• Excellent communication skills
• High school or equivalent
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean record
• Must clear a criminal record check
