The Role

The Account Associate supports our sales team in the process of selling bulk and packaged food products to retail markets across North America. This role facilitates the sales process, identifying opportunities for new business, and ensuring our existing customers remain satisfied. The Account Associate will assist in preparing for client meetings, managing sales documents, and conducting follow-ups on sales activities to achieve sales goals.

Your Impact

  • Research and identify potential clients, contributing to our efforts to grow our business.
  • Prepare sales materials and assist in organizing product demonstrations to help showcase our offerings.
  • Support ongoing relationships with current clients by helping manage communications and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers to carry out sales strategies that cater to the needs of different clients.
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, including client interactions and transactions, to help the team stay organized and informed.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and our company to quickly address any questions or concerns, aiming to keep our customers happy with our services.
  • Help organize and plan for sales events and promotional activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Assist in compiling sales reports and gathering market information that the sales team can use to make informed decisions.
  • Contribute to the team’s goal of achieving sales targets by being proactive and diligent in all assigned tasks.
  • Support product management tasks such as updating pricing information and monitoring product availability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

  • Proven ability to resolve customer concerns efficiently, ensuring a positive client experience and long-term satisfaction.
  • Strong interest in sales, with a passion for understanding customer needs and delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Skilled in analyzing customer data and sales trends to support account growth and retention strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in an Account Associate or sales support role, working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
