Job Summary:
Assuming a leadership role for reservations and administration at Whistler Heli-Skiing.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $27.73/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Your position will be based at our store/office in the Carleton Lodge
  • All responsibilities as outlined in the Reservation Host job description.
  • Taking Responsibility: Act on problems discovered; keeping up to date with processes and procedures and proactively communicating information to staff.
  • Provide Quality Service: Ensure service is timely and consistent; adapting to business needs and providing business solutions. Ensure the highest quality service for our clients, agents, tour and travel companies.
  • Maintain a Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a consistent can-do attitude; supporting the core values of our company and supporting decisions made by the Managers. Be a good partner who will be compatible with and strengthen our current management group, store and operations staff.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial approach to the position and maintain a sales driven culture for our packages and retail.
  • Oversee punctual, professional and informative correspondence with our clients via phone, email and in person.
  • Ensure telephone, front desk, website and e-mail reservations are accurately maintained, processed and recorded.
  • Assist with new and returning staff on the job training. Providing coaching and feedback where necessary.
  • Coordinate inventory of available seats with Operations
  • Supervise the accurate transfer of reservation lists and customer profiles to grouping coordinators.
  • Be responsible for opening and closing of office, assisting with accurate guest check-in for both day of and future dated packages. Ensuring all check-ins are courteous, professional and complete.
  • Provide dispatch services on radio and support services for in field emergencies.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by Management.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • High attention to detail
  • Previous WHS experience an asset
  • Second language an asset, specifically French, German, Spanish, Japanese
  • Good knowledge of POS systems, Word, Excel and Outlook is an asset
  • Broad experience in various aspects of customer service including front desk experience an asset
  • Keen to learn new skills, open-minded
  • Radio operator experience, an asset
  • Satisfactory criminal record check.
