Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and fluent in Spanish? We’re looking for a dedicated and customer-obsessed Technology Support Advisor to champion the performance and reliability of the cutting-edge MineStar suite of products.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to expert for our customers—managing support tickets with precision, diving deep into technical challenges, and ensuring seamless functionality across multiple modules. Your proactive mindset will help shape smarter systems, refine support policies, and continuously elevate our technical solutions.

Job Description:

  • Oversee successful deployments and upgrades of mining technology solutions remotely.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers and internal teams.
  • Deliver product and user training for customers and internal resources.
  • Act as a technical resource for product-related inquiries and issues.
  • Support product installations and demonstration projects.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Represent Finning in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in technical engineering or related field.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish to communicate with Finning South America.
  • Experience with database/radio communications/IT.
  • Familiarity with asset management technology solutions (e.g., MineStar, Wenco, Modular).
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of mining operations, mechanical equipment, electronics, GPS technology, and radio communications.

Note:

  • This position is based out of our Edmonton office.
  • Hybrid position, 2-3 days per rotation in office.
  • 7 x 7 rotation, 2 rotations of day shift and 1 rotation of night shift. 12-hour shift.
