Cornerstone Co-op invites applicants for the position ofDelivery Driverto join our team on a full-time basis at our Wainwright Home Centre. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor.

What you’ll do:

• Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
• Provide efficient delivery of orders while maintaining the highest level of customer service
• Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner
• Keep accurate driver reports and ensure bills for accounts and deliveries to all locations are accurate
• Assist customers in the yard that need home building supplies
• Load, haul and deliver home centre items to customers
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory verifications
• Follow proper transportation regulations such as applying straps, wrapping pallets, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as daily inspections, greasing and refueling
• Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Participate team safety meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:

• You have a class 3 driver's license with airbrakes and can pass a drug and alcohol test and provide a clean commercial driver's abstract.
• You demonstrate the ability to balance multiple stakeholders.
• You are physically able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry items up to 80 lbs.
• You have knowledge of home centre products.
• You demonstrate effective team leadership skills and can work well within a multigenerational, highly motivated team.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
