Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our Supply Chain team based in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry of supply chain receiving’s documents (such as packing slips and invoices) in Microsoft Dynamics GP
• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Purchase and Distribution Orders for inbound finished goods with the objective of ensuring on-time delivery dates to meet customer demand.
• Determine method of transportation and track supplier and freight/custom broker communication and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with suppliers ensuring that all documentation is received and processed accurately and on a timely basis. Update purchase order status and expected delivery dates within ERP system.
• Process Distribution Orders for racking and related inventory from factories and coordinate the shipping to local office.
• Communicate with and provide reports to other departments within the Company including accounting, distribution center and brand/marketing managers regarding receipt of product, delays, shortages, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
• Other duties related to supply chain and testing/updating of related systems and processes.
• Validate that costs, quantities, part numbers/descriptions on packing slips & invoices.
• Follows and complies with all operational procedures/policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Required to adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance to all local laws requirements where performing work. Follows and ensures the Company’s procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are followed throughout their assigned area.
• Travel to project sites, business meetings, and tradeshow, as needed and required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in supply chain management or logistics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supply chain, logistics and/or purchasing role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills, attention to details
• Proficient with a PC; must have excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word and ideally advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting software an asset.
• Extreme attention to detail
