Senior Exploration Administrator, Analytics and Reporting The Senior Exploration Administrator, Analytics, and Reporting is a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who will provide critical administrative support to our exploration projects, with a strong focus on SAP-based invoice processing, documentation control, and coordination with site teams. This role ensures smooth financial and operational workflows between field and office. The role will support the Exploration team through the administration of the exploration process across all sites, including budgeting, invoicing, expense tracking, coordinating logistics/travel, managing contracts and communications with vendors and service providers, and assisting with permitting, regulatory compliance, and reporting requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Exploration Administration
- Process, validate, and track exploration-related invoices and purchase orders using SAP
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure accurate coding, timely approvals, and compliance with procurement policies
- Maintain up-to-date records of contracts, vendor documentation, and exploration expenditures
- Coordinate logistics for field programs including travel, accommodations, and equipment dispatch
- Support monthly reporting, budget tracking, and reconciliation of exploration costs
- Facilitate communication between exploration, finance, procurement, and HSE teams
- Assist with onboarding of contractors and service providers, ensuring documentation is complete and compliance site access policies.
- Monitor and manage document control systems for exploration data, permits, and reports
Budgeting, Tracking, and Data Analytics
- Assist with annual Global Exploration Budget process, working collaboratively with sites to ensure consistency, and to consolidate the annual consolidated global exploration budget.
- Compile, track, and analyze performance metrics, budgets, financials, and exploration results.
- Monitor key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and prepare regular Global monthly, quarterly, and annual exploration expenditure reports.
Experience Preferred
- Familiarity with the exploration process, with 5+ years of experience in exploration, with a focus on Project Management and Administration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and database management
- Ability to create, review, and reconcile purchase orders within SAP
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
