About the role
Position Overview:
Multimatic Niche Vehicles (MNV) is seeking to recruit a Vehicle Quality Inspector to perform inspections on in-process and finished build vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing in-process inspections to ensure that vehicle builds meet the high-quality standard set by MNV
- Performing final inspections to ensure that each vehicle meets customer standards prior to being shipped
- Ensuring that all in process builds and end-products meet regulatory requirements as specified
- Strong ability to participate in problem solving and root cause analysis on the shop floor
- Communicate inspection results to plant
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Comply with relevant health and safety legislation and company health and safety practices
Education and Experience
- Quality relevant or Technical college certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask
- Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment
- Understanding of structured quality problem solving tools and documentations
- Ability to take initiative and recognize needs as required
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential material
- Minimum of 3 years automotive experience, OEM(s), Tier 1 & Tier II. With good understanding of fit and function and assembly processes with technical competencies
- Must have reliable transportation
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good understanding of PPAP, PCP and PFD will be an asset
