Procurement and Logistics

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available

SALARY: $46,862 - $65,993 per annum

POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES
The Supply Coordinator manages all inventory control aspects, including locations, min/max stock, cycle counts, and item master data, using a fully integrated ERP system. The primary objective is to maintain adequate stock levels to meet daily distribution needs while minimizing excess supply. This role also involves assigning and overseeing the daily activities of the Inventory Control Specialists and Storekeepers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma; Completion of or enrolment in the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation Program, Certificate in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain operations, preferably in a medium to large organization with complex inventory needs
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems and computerized inventory management tools; strong database management skills
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, best practices, and audit/compliance requirements
  • Experience establishing, organizing and maintaining inventory locations including stock rotation, cycle count process and other inventory management functions to support operational efficiency and accuracy
  • Proven ability to analyze data, develop reports, and recommend process improvements to optimize stock levels
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team coordination skills, including experience providing work direction to others
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to address supply needs, resolve issues efficiently, and provide timely follow-up
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

  • Supervisory or lead-hand experience in an inventory/supply chain environment
  • Knowledge of lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or other data analysis/reporting tools

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
  • May be required to lift objects over 50 lbs
