Job Description
We’re looking for a sharp, motivated accounting professional to join our finance team in a Financial Reporting role. This is more than just keeping the books in order - you will be hands-on with the numbers that drive our business while helping to design smarter, and more efficient ways of working. From period end close to process automation, you’ll play a key role in shaping core systems, strengthening reporting, and supporting big-picture decisions. Key responsibilities

Own the period-end process: Drive the cadence and timing of month and quarter-end activities, keeping the team aligned to the closing checklist and deadlines while identifying opportunities to streamline the process.

Take charge of complex accounting areas: Lead quarterly adjustments for SR&ED, stock-based compensation, and corporate tax, making sure they are accurate, on time, and well understood across Finance and beyond.

Produce consolidated financial statements: Lead multi-entity consolidations and prepare precise, compliant quarterly financial statements for leadership and external reporting.

Own the yearly financial audit: Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, while preparing key schedules and coordinating with stakeholders in Finance and the business at large, to deliver the right information on time.

Level up our systems: Keep our accounting records accurate and reliable, while driving system rollouts and automation that makes our Finance function stronger.

Keep commission process on track: Manage the commission calculation process today, and drive improvements that will allow Revenue Operations to take it over in the future.

Contribute to scaling the finance team: Constantly look for opportunities to improve processes, challenge the status quo, and help us scale our finance function in a fast-growing tech environment
Qualifications

CPA designation required
-
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in corporate financial reporting and/or public accounting

Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or related field

Strong knowledge of accounting standards and end-to-end financial reporting processes

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements while meeting tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
