About the role

The Granite Club is looking for a seasonal Teaching Professional who will assist in the daily operation and maintenance of the Golf Section. The Teaching Professional will ensure that all members and their invited guests receive a first class service experience every time they visit the Gold Section. The Teaching Professional will provide expert individual and group instruction to all Golf Section members and guests and will help develop and coordinate various instructional programs and events.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide 30 hours of service per week to the Golf Section in various capacities
  • Spread Hospitality and goodwill amongst all members and their guests
  • Conduct yourself as a mature team leader and a role model at all times
  • Coordinate and facilitate individual and group instruction for Golf Section members and guests
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of all lessons and clinics
  • Aid in the development of Golf Section instructional programs and events
  • Knowledgeable about Golf Section membership, their needs and the various programs and events offered throughout the season
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the Golf Section and proper storage of equipment and teaching aids
  • Support Golf Section staff at various events and socials
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable in event coordination and implementation
  • Minimum of 2 years Golf Shop experience
  • Flexible to work variable shifts; evenings, weekends and holidays
