About The Role This position is responsible for all functions in the molding packaging process after the boxes/supersacks are packed while adhering to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Monitors automatic robot arm and perform regular checks.
- Manual recordkeeping of all Finished Goods leaving the production area.
- Stages pallets once shrink wrapped.
- Troubleshooting with production team on weight of the bags/boxes.
- Keep work area clean.
- Recordkeeping of consumptions via SAP.
- Transport pallets via the forklift.
- Follow packaging paperwork to ensure proper material is used.
- Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s.
- Committed to providing a safe food product.
- Works within all regulatory requirements.
- Perform all other related duties as requested.
About You
- High school diploma. Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.
- Familiar with computers and SAP.
- Lift truck certification and experience with reach forklift
- May require a skills evaluation.
Working Environment
- Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time.
- Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently.
- Ability to climb stairs, often.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility.
