As a Senior QA Analyst in this 12-months fixed-term role, you will be designing and documenting test scenarios, identifying target test items, scripting automated tests, and testing new features from the design stage all the way through to deployment. You will also ensure our teams are producing high quality deliverables.
The successful candidate must be located in Lower Mainland, BC, where we prioritize remote work, with occasional in-person meetings for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do:
- Determining the requirements for deploying new features and functions to developer and test environments.
- Analyzing and identifying gaps in test coverage, and designing test cases and test scenarios.
- Being the quality champion by ensuring the team is following the proper acceptance criteria, leveraging the right test cases, and adhering to QA standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore teams).
- Validating work in production and signing off on deployments.
- Documenting, triaging, investigating, and re-testing bugs and failures.
- Automation scripting and maintenance, as well as running the execution and analyzing the results.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in planning, designing, developing, and testing software.
- 2+ years of leadership experience with initiatives and/or projects.
- 2+ years of experience creating automation in Java or another similar language.
- 2+ years of test automation experience with Java, Groovy, Selenium, or any relevant scripting language.
- Hands on experience with automation testing across API’s, UI, micro services, frontend and backend systems.
- Comprehension of data structures, data manipulation and system process flows.
- Solid understanding of how to apply QA methodologies and processes.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
- Experience in the retail or Ecommerce domains would be considered an asset.

$80,000.00 - $84,000.00
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
