Job ID: 26-19049 Job Title: Test Analyst (Intermediate) Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Onsite - 5 Days/Week) Duration: 215 Business days with Extension Possibility up to 12 Months Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $50 -$55 per hour

Project Overview We are seeking an Intermediate Test Analyst to support a Procurement System Modernization initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing testing approaches, preparing and executing test plans, coordinating testing activities, managing test data, and ensuring delivered solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate business requirements and design specifications to provide testing input. Develop, support, and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies. Identify target test items and define appropriate testing approaches. Coordinate testing activities with business users, business analysts, technical teams, and subject matter experts. Gather, prepare, and manage test data required for testing activities. Execute test cases, validate results, and document defects/issues. Track and report testing progress, defects, metrics, risks, and overall testing status. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing activities. Collaborate with project team members to investigate and resolve testing issues. Support implementation of process improvements and testing best practices. Participate in project meetings and provide regular testing status updates. Support teams utilizing automated testing and AI-assisted testing tools.

Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of experience coordinating testing activities with business users, business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders. Minimum 4 years of experience preparing and executing test plans and test cases. Minimum 4 years of experience executing tests, validating results, and logging defects/issues. Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Software Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and testing activities. Minimum 4 years of experience supporting testing activities for ERP, SAP, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, or related enterprise systems. Minimum 4 years of experience identifying testing issues and implementing process improvements. Minimum 3 years of experience tracking test execution progress, testing metrics, defects, risks, and status reporting. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience testing end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, including procurement and purchasing workflows. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate testing activities, and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications Experience testing system integrations, interfaces, and data flows. Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into test scenarios and test cases. Experience with ERP procurement solutions such as SAP, SAC, VIM, Fieldglass, or similar platforms. Experience with Smoke Testing, Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT. Experience using JIRA or similar defect tracking and test management tools. Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and testing lifecycles. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
