Profile De Havilland Aircraft of Canada is currently searching for a Aircraft Support Technologist to join the In-Service Engineering Systems & Technical Support team. This position is responsible for providing the first point of contact and initial responses to customer queries and technical needs and assisting our customers with the return to service of their aircraft in as efficient and timely a manner as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical knowledge, representing De Havilland with professionalism, and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries in accordance with business Service Level Agreement and Charging Policy.
- Focus on reducing operator OOS time and increased fleet utilization.
- Support Continuing Airworthiness requirements for all fleet types through data collection and reporting, SDR/Incident investigation, and management.
- Ensure quality solutions are provided in a 24/7 environment through the provision of technical troubleshooting, return to service documentation, and awareness of possible needed modifications.
- Provide on-site assistance at operators' facilities as required.
- Create deliverables such as All Operator Messages, Service Letters, Concession Support Letters, Reference Instruction Letters, In-Service Activity Reports, and other fleet communications.
- Prepare reports and communication packages to support customer meetings, regional reviews, conferences, working groups and other initiatives.
Qualifications
- AME license, Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and airline/AMO or aviation environment.
- Familiarity with the De Havilland aircraft family is an asset.
- Strong background and understanding of aircraft structures, systems, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of TCCA and global regulatory requirements. Understanding of other global regulatory frameworks (EASA, FAA) is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and customer service experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Aircraft Systems, Avionics and Structures and able to function in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Ability to support flexible working hours as part of a 24/7/365 operation.
- Customer support experience is considered an asset.

- Strong working knowledge of Aircraft systems, Avionics' and Structures and you can "think on your feet" in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Ability to support occasional travel internationally on short notice.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement with customers, even in high pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
- Dynamic oral and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
