Information Technology Specialist
About the role
Job Title – IT Specialist Period – 4 months (Extension possible) Location – Vancouver BC
Job Summary Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization as an IT Specialist, where your technical expertise will directly impact daily operations and user satisfaction. In this hands-on, customer-focused role, you will provide essential support across hardware, software, and access systems, ensuring seamless IT functionality for a diverse workforce. Your problem-solving skills and proactive approach will help shape a modern, reliable IT environment that fosters productivity and innovation. Required Skills: 2–4 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or end-user computing. Strong troubleshooting abilities in Windows and macOS environments. Familiarity with identity and endpoint management tools such as Workspace, Okta/Azure AD, Intune, JAMF, and VPN clients. Experience with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management. Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet SLA expectations. Knowledge of ITIL principles, incident management, and escalation processes. Ability to support both onsite and remote users with a process-driven approach. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with device lifecycle management including deployment, inventory updates, and refresh. Knowledge of automation opportunities and process improvements to reduce ticket volume. Familiarity with security and infrastructure collaboration. Preferred Education and Experience: Relevant certifications such as MCSA, CompTIA A+, or equivalent are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
