About the role

Looking to take the lead of a team and make a real impact on a daily basis?

Our client, a well-established and reputable local company based in Saint-Jérôme specializing in the distribution of plumbing products, tools, and industrial supplies, is currently seeking a dynamic and motivating Team Leader (m/f) to oversee daily operations and drive the team toward excellence.

Responsibilities:

-          Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the branch

-          Prepare and complete quotes for customers

-          Provide high-quality customer service, both at the counter and over the phone

-          Ensure proper and organized receipt of merchandise

-          Supervise order preparation

-          Plan delivery routes efficiently

-          Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock shortages

-          Perform inventory checks and follow up on discrepancies

-          Ensure that equipment, tools, and work materials are functional and safe

-          Maintain a positive work environment and strong team dynamics

-          Support employees in their daily tasks and ensure compliance with internal procedures

-          Ensure overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

-          Perform deliveries as needed

-          Open and close the branch

-          Handle deposits

-          Perform any other related tasks

Requirements:

-          Relevant experience in branch or operations management (inventory, logistics, coordination)

-          Strong customer service skills (counter and phone) with a professional approach

-          Experience in inventory management, receiving, and shipping

-          Hands-on leadership with the ability to guide, motivate, and support a team

-          Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

-          Versatility and operational involvement (floor support, deliveries, administrative tasks)

-          Knowledge of distribution operations or warehouse environments (a major asset)

-          Ability to ensure quality control and compliance with workplace safety standards

Salary: $31.25 per hour
Schedule: 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)
Status: Permanent
