About the role

Collaborating with our AVP, Global Technology Governance & Control, our team is the first line of defense in our Global Technology organization, passionate about managing risk. We partner with leadership to build a risk culture, define strategy, and deliver the tools, insights, and expertise needed to make confident, risk-aware decisions. Our work supports the broader Technology and Enterprise strategies — and we’re growing!

Position Responsibilities:

As a Manager in Governance & Control, you'll have a key role in shaping our risk management practices throughout Global Technology. Your work will be dynamic, strategic, and future-focused.

Build the Foundations: Help define the methodology and taxonomy for risk and control activities — making sure everyone speaks the same risk language.

Spot the Signals: Analyze risk trends, support initiatives, and recommend smart ways to continuously improve how we manage risk.

AI Adoption: Identify and implement AI use cases to streamline risk, control, and regulatory processes — making our work faster and smarter.

  • ️ Automate with Purpose: Find opportunities to automate controls, prioritize them, and coordinate their development and rollout.

️ Stay Ahead of Regulations: Support regulatory initiatives by assessing current practices, identifying gaps, and driving remediation plans to completion.

Lead Communities of Practice:

  • Third Party Risk Management: Own procedures, deliver training, track improvements, and report performance.

  • Standard Change Management: Do the same here — keeping things consistent, clear, and continuously improving.

Keep Us on Track: Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting — scorecards, dashboards, trackers, summaries — you name it.

Be a Global Voice: Represent the team in global forums, leadership meeting, and conferences — sharing insights and shaping strategy.

Required Qualifications:

We’re looking for a sharp, strategic problem solver who’s passionate about risk and ready to lead. You don’t need to check every box — but if you bring many of these qualifications and are eager to grow, we want to hear from you!

  • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in Technology Risk, Information Security, Operational Risk, Business Resiliency, or Audit within a complex enterprise environment.

  • Proven track record in project management, risk strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with GRC tools (Archer preferred) and a strong grasp of risk frameworks and control standards.

  • Expertise in risk methodologies, control design, and audit procedures.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills — you can simplify complexity and tell compelling stories with data.

  • Strong analytical approach with the ability to influence decisions, solve problems creatively, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable working across global time zones and navigating diverse partner environments.

Leadership & Influence: Inspire confidence, guide teams, and influence outcomes across all levels.

Stakeholder Engagement: You build trust, align priorities, and manage expectations with finesse. Accountability: You take ownership and follow through — always.

Critical Thinking: You connect dots, anticipate risks, and think several steps ahead. Strategic Problem Solving: You approach challenges with curiosity, creativity, and a clear plan.

Collaboration & Inclusion: You thrive in team environments and know how to bring people together to solve complex challenges. You bring people together and create space for diverse perspectives.

Communication: You’re a skilled presenter and facilitator, able to tailor your message to any audience.

Execution Excellence: You manage time and priorities like a pro, delivering high-quality work in fast-paced settings. Decisiveness: You make informed decisions and own the outcomes.

When you join our team:

We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.

We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.

As part of our distributed team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
