About the role

We are seeking a Service Clinician to provide clinical leadership and expertise across our therapeutic home programs. In this role, you will guide direct service teams, ensure culturally safe and trauma-informed care, and shape individualized service plans that foster stability, independence, and well-being for the people we support.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Assessment & Intake – Screen referrals, assess new clients, and determine the best treatment approaches, staffing models, and environmental supports.
  • Service Planning & Safety – Develop individualized service and safety plans in collaboration with clients, families, and teams; ensure staff are trained and plans are followed.
  • Ongoing Case Management – Provide clinical oversight, coordinate care, advocate for clients, and connect them with community and cultural resources.
  • Specialized Training & Consultation – Deliver expertise and training in areas such as behaviour interventions, sensory integration, harm reduction, crisis intervention, and communication supports.
  • Monitoring & Quality Assurance – Track client progress, review incidents, adjust interventions, and ensure documentation meets compliance and quality standards.

What You Bring

  • Degree or diploma in a related human/social services field (Master’s preferred or in progress).
  • Training in trauma-informed practice, Indigenous history, and the effects of colonization in Canada.
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder, mental health, and substance use disorders.
  • At least 5 years of direct support experience with individuals with high needs and co-occurring disorders.
  • Skills in behavioural modification, attachment-based parenting, occupational therapy/sensory integration, speech and language supports, and communication tools (ASL, visual systems, augmentative devices).
  • Education/experience in sexual health education.
  • Valid BC driver’s license, business insurance ($3M liability), First Aid & CPR, Mandt certification, clear criminal record check, and able to complete an MCFD HUB clearance.

Working Conditions:

  • Location: North Vancouver head office, plus meetings at our Surrey Office and program visits
  • Days: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Please note this a 6 month term.
