Project Manager – Capital Installations BSHS Canada Overall responsibility: to successfully manage, plan, and oversee the different installation phases of new Hologic equipment at the customer’s site including key projects. Overall, he/she contributes to the qualitative implementation of new Hologic equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will work with Sales Representatives and Field Engineers, inform customers that you are the main point of contact throughout the pre-install phase, physical installation phase, and into initial post-install activity phase.
- You will ensure site-planning information has been provided and approved by the customer. You will notify Sales and Service teams that plans are complete and coordinate site assessment with the Field Service Representative (FSR) or third-party installation partner and customer.
- You will contact IT/Connectivity and coordinate a meeting/conference call with customer to ensure IT requirements are met upon equipment delivery.
- You ensure that Unifi Connect or a VPN connection will be established when applicable.
- You will validate customer requested ship and delivery dates with install team members.
- You will validate site readiness and communicate any schedule changes immediately to minimize impact to manufacturing and revenue recognition.
- You will coordinate with Field Service, Connectivity and Applications to schedule their activities and communicate same to all parties.
- You coordinate with local service, participate in “pre-install” meetings as needed, either by conference call or on-site, and attend progress meetings when required by the customer.
- Liaise with SESC team to update Oracle reports/schedules (dates, status changes, demographic info etc.)
- You will oversee installation and call in appropriate resources if there are any problems/delays. You will notify all parties
- You provide multiple sources of information to the customer, e.g. province regulations, applications agenda, accreditation instructions, connectivity compatibility list, DICOM conformance statements etc.
- You will review existing Hologic equipment configuration(s), prior to the delivery of new equipment to ensure compatibility (i.e. hardware, software, connectivity)
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of project management experience in healthcare or capital equipment installations.
- Knowledge of breast and skeletal health technologies (e.g., mammography, bone densitometry, digital X-ray).
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and safety standards.
- The ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple priorities/projects
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written
- Experience with group presentations, project summaries and updates
- Computer literate: good command of Word, Excel, Salesforce and other presentation programs
- The ability and flexibility to travel in Canada, the USA and other countries within International Region
