Job Description

  • Support senior engineers and department with reports updates, power point creation/updates, planning activities, calculations etc.

  • Support day to day activities on ongoing basis.

  • Assist with site inspections and data collection for a variety of engineering projects.

  • Summarize and document findings in technical reports or project management systems.

  • Support senior staff in engineering design tasks, including preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and scheduling calculations as required.

  • Contribute to proposals, technical reports or memo writing as needed.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a university degree in Electrical, Transportation or Civil Engineering or similar

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar engineering software is considered an asset.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Located in the GTA region, and able to commute to the Egis offices as required.
