Location: Prairies Position Description We are looking for a passionate, driven, and experienced individual to fill the role of Territory Manager – Trade Marketing

This individual will be responsible for building and implementing strategies to target, convert and own the Union Training Centres and Trade Schools within your region. You will assist the sales team by driving conversions, training and brand awareness which directly impacts our market share. You will be focused on winning at a grass root level ensuring Milwaukee is the brand of choice for all new apprentices and trade school graduates. Excellent communication skills are paramount given your interaction with the multiple functions involved in the selling and conversion process.

What You Will Do

  • Be a product and market expert in the focus trades to support Sales, JSS and Marketing
  • Build strong relationships with union training centres, trade schools and distribution partners
  • Execute a regional strategy for all union and trade school partners to make Milwaukee a leader in the industry
  • Effectively present and sell the Milwaukee advantage to your assigned account list
  • Assist with strategic trade shows/industry events in the planning, execution and follow up phases
  • Communicate with multiple business functions involved in the selling and conversion process
  • Operate within the established budget guidelines
  • Prepare and present monthly recaps to highlight the success in your territory

What You Will Bring

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 2-3 years sales and sales leadership experience or equivalent
  • Must be proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
  • Must possess effective business communication skills, broad business perspective and market savvy
  • A strong multi-tasker that can prioritize tasks to meet business objectives deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
  • Driven by results and continuous improvement with a strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with teams and have excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel when required
