About the role

The hourly wage rate for this position is $33.36. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Professional Conduct

Maintain low speaking volume and polished language

Demonstrate proper posture and controlled body language

Avoid personal conversations during service

Guest Awareness

Recognize returning guests whenever possible

Remember and anticipate guest preferences

Tailor service style to individual guest cues and needs

Service Standards

Greet guests professionally within one (1) minute of seating

Use guest names when known

Avoid informal language (e.g., “guys”)

Offer bottled still or sparkling water; use coasters when appropriate

Guide guests through Signature Cocktails and the Wine List

Confirm any time restrictions to pace service appropriately

Enter drink orders into POS using correct seat numbers

Target delivery time: within 3 minutes

Serve using a tray, mindful of guest comfort and dominant hand

Wine Service Protocol

Present label to the guest

Pour a tasting sample

Complete a 5 oz pour once approved

Use white linen on the serving arm

Keep service stations and bar areas clean and organized at all times

Perform Quality Checks

First sip check for beverages

Two-bite check for food

Anticipate guest needs without hovering

Serve from the right whenever possible, using a tray or cocktail napkin

Serve ladies first, then clockwise

Verbally identify each beverage as it is served (e.g., “Your Old Fashioned, enjoy.”)

Maintain a calm, quiet demeanor; never reach across guests or rush service

Guest Interaction & Beverage Service

Offer water top-ups, wine pairings, or second beverages when appropriate

Use proper glassware and garnishes for all drinks

Ensure clean rims, polished glassware, and drip-free presentation

Demonstrate Strong Knowledge Of

Remain attentive and responsive throughout the guest experience

Food Service Standards

Take accurate food orders, confirming allergies and preferences

If multiple courses are ordered simultaneously, explain staggered service to avoid table crowding

Use synchronized delivery whenever possible

If not possible, serve ladies first, then clockwise

Clearly describe each dish upon delivery

Perform a verbal quality check after 2–3 bites

Coffee & Tea Service

Offer cream, milk, and sugar as standard

Offer honey and lemon upon request

Serve with appropriate accompaniments

Cup And Saucer Placement

Handle and spoon to the right

Adjust for left-handed guests when necessary

Ongoing Table Maintenance

Top up beverages discreetly

Crumb and reset tables between courses

Clear plates promptly and professionally

Offer dessert, liqueurs, and coffee or tea after clearing main courses

Timing & Pacing

Target service duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour

Adjust pacing based on guest preferences, flight times, and cues

Closing Duties

Reset all tables to full Signature Suite standard

Dust chairs, wipe table bases, and fluff pillows

Fully clean and organize service stations

Polish and restock: Glassware, Cutlery & Condiments

Fold napkins and align tables and glassware

Clean hallway items and surrounding service areas

Manager sign-off is required prior to leaving

Accountability

All duties must be completed regardless of previous shift status

Report incomplete tasks to the Manager before proceeding

Consistency, teamwork, and professionalism are essential to maintaining Signature Suite standards
