Position Summary
The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary warehouse and office environment in accordance with company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This role supports product safety, quality, and legality while contributing to a safe and efficient workplace that delivers value to customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently throughout warehouse and office areas.
- Follow assigned sanitation logs and requirements consistently.
- Use and understand cleaning materials and liquids as directed.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and communicate reorder needs.
- Ensure floors are free of debris and maintain a clean, orderly appearance.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with company standards.
- Report any unkempt areas from previous shifts to the supervisor.
- Remove snow from designated areas as seasonally required.
- If trained, inspect sweeper scrubber equipment before and after use to ensure proper function and appearance.
- Identify and report areas of waste that may impact operational flow.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma preferred.
- Sanitation and janitorial experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies

- Ability to read, speak, and understand English to complete assignments.
- Adaptability to changing work environments and tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service oriented and strong team player.

If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, Functional French (written and spoken) is required.
