About The Role

Are you a passionate community builder with a knack for fostering engaging online spaces? We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our client’s team and become the voice of their player community! In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of connecting players with development and marketing teams, shaping the player experience, and driving the growth and health of beloved gaming communities. Your work will directly influence the success of highly anticipated titles and ensure a strong, positive connection between the studio and its dedicated player base throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Own and operate community platforms (e.g., Discord, social channels). Drive engagement through compelling content, discussions, and campaigns. Maintain healthy, active, and inclusive community environments. Analyze engagement data and adjust strategy accordingly. Act as a crucial bridge between players/community and internal development, marketing, and live operations teams. Support marketing initiatives, product launches, and live operations communications. Manage day-to-day activity and usage to keep the community engaged and productive. Support peers and ensure knowledge sharing across departments. Share insights and help make information accessible and reliable. Participate actively in discussions and build trust within the community. Create and manage community campaigns, conversations, and analytics.

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience managing and growing communities across social and/or owned platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging content for diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and foster engagement with community members and stakeholders. Experience developing and executing content and engagement strategies aligned with business goals. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret community data, trends, and sentiment to drive decisions. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence partners across development, marketing, and communications teams. Highly organized and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinker with a passion for community building, storytelling, and player engagement. Demonstrated ownership and drive for results, with a focus on continuous improvement. Experience with community platforms (e.g., Discord, Reddit, social media channels) and engagement tools. Passion for gaming and understanding of player communities, live service dynamics, and player sentiment.
