We are currently seeking a Coater Helper to join our Calgary team.

About the Role

As a Coater Helper, you will play an important role in supporting our coating and finishing operations. Working alongside experienced team members, you will assist with coating applications, material preparation, equipment maintenance, quality inspections, and general production duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare, paint, and coat products according to work orders and specifications
  • Assist with the application of rubber and pyroxylin coatings
  • Support sandblasting and coating processes
  • Handle and move raw materials and finished products safely
  • Clean and maintain coating equipment, tools, and work areas
  • Measure, inspect, label, and package products for shipment
  • Assist with production bending operations after setup is completed
  • Perform general shop duties, including: 
    • Torch cutting
    • Saw cutting
    • Washing
    • Sand filling
    • Material handling
  • Follow quality standards and maintain accurate production records
  • Work safely while contributing to a clean and organized facility

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift certification
  • Previous paint, coating, sandblasting, or industrial manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Experience working in fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environments
