Ameresco Canada has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee and organize quality assurance activities for a large utility scale construction project located in Napanee, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Management Program (QMP) process for a large Utility construction project.
- Oversee Suppliers/Subcontractors planning, execution, and reporting for various types of inspections, testing, and verification for construction activities. This may include off-site activities.
- Engage with Supplier/Subcontractors Quality Control Teams, to over see their Quality Documentation deliverables.
- Continuously review and improve QA processes, implement best practices, and suggest automation solutions to enhance efficiency
- Utilize project management software to interface with submittal of daily QC reports, weekly CPR’s and other documentation.
- Ensure Ameresco mandated documentation is accurate, properly completed and submitted to appropriate reporting authorities in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Project Management personnel and subcontractors/suppliers Quality Control personnel to ensure proper procedures and documentation are performed and maintained.
- Use measures to track all Deficiencies, Non-conformance, Field change requests, etc. as outlined in the Quality Management Plan.
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Post Secondary Education in engineering, technology, and/or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as QA/QC Lead.
- A current QA/QC certification
- Valid Drivers’ License.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
- Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using project management software like Procore or Autodesk.
