The Opportunity:
We’re looking to fill an opening for a digitally-savvy, Marketing Specialist to join our Product Marketing team, supporting our Direct Investing business.
Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, execution and optimizing multi-channel campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for Qtrade. You will work cross-functionally with creative services, marketing operations, MarTech, and business teams to generate demand and maximize customer lifetime value.

What your day looks like:
- Assist in development of go-to-market plans and campaign marketing briefs to drive growth and deliver business results
- Conduct research to understand the competitive landscape, customer insights, and digital trends; Work with our internal research team to produce reports and share with stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders to gather intelligence and feedback to execute compelling marketing plans
- Coordinate campaign and offer execution/delivery working with internal and external advertising agency stakeholders
- Drive project execution for campaigns, marketing/partner programs, offers, working with a cross functional team of business and marketing professionals
- Leverage dashboards, data and analytics platforms to measure, track and report on campaign or program performance
- Monitor and share results and optimize plans to deliver value and achieve KPIs
- Ensure compliance with communication policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Form and foster relationships with internal colleagues to leverage existing resources across product lines and delivery channels; Collaborate with product, UX, and technology teams to deliver seamless digital experiences
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices relevant to online investing
- Maintain process documentation and manage day-to-day marketing operations, including ongoing use of project management tools (Workfront) and reporting
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree is required (Business, Marketing, or other relevant disciplines)
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience and a successful track record in marketing for online businesses
- Digital marketing, social media and CRM experience is strongly preferred
- B2C experience and digital fluency, experience working with multiple partners
- Proven ability to analyze data, generate insights, and optimize campaigns for performance
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Excellent project management skills with ability to multi-task and deliver within defined timelines and budgets is required and experience with Agile ways of working is preferred
- Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills is required
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment is required
- An understanding of Canada’s Financial Services Regulatory environment is an asset
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and Bilingual skills in French are an asset

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
