Responsibilities/Qualifications

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for NG911 and Call Handling products is responsible for translating modern public safety communications platforms, including NG911 networks, cloud-based call handling, analytics, Mapping and AI-enabled capabilities, into clear market-facing messaging and sales enablement. This role supports a portfolio that includes both standards-driven NG911 infrastructure and a rapidly evolving Cloud-based call handling platform that is moving to the cloud and incorporating AI-driven functionality. The PMM works closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer teams to ensure consistent positioning across legacy environments and newer cloud and SaaS deployments. Success is measured by the quality and usefulness of marketing and enablement assets and their impact on sales readiness, customer understanding, and adoption of cloud and AI capabilities. Essentially, the PMM defines who the customer is, what the product message should be, and how to take it to market successfully

Key Responsibilities:

Market Intelligence & Personas

  • Deeply understanding buyer personas, their buying criteria, and the competitive landscape
  • Clearly define buyer and user audiences for NG911, Call Handling, Mapping and Analytics, including network stakeholders, PSAP leadership, operations, IT, call takers, and channel partners
  • Identify the primary customer problems and workflows addressed by cloud call handling and AI-assisted features, including staffing efficiency, call triage, transcription, translation, and non-emergency handling
  • Gather and summarize recurring field and partner input, including wins, losses, objections, and competitive feedback, and apply those insights directly to messaging, enablement, and launches sequencing

Go-to-Market (GTM)

  • Planning and executing the launch of new products and features.
  • Develop and maintain positioning and messaging for the combined NG911 and cloud call handling portfolio, including SaaS, analytics, mapping and AI differentiation
  • Translate technical capabilities such as cloud resiliency, local survivability, analytics, and AI assistance into clear customer and partner value
  • Create and maintain customer- and partner-facing narratives, solution briefs, and executive summaries that reflect the shift toward cloud-based and AI-enabled operations

Positioning and Messaging

  • Developing sales tools, presentations, and demo scripts to support the sales process.
  • Support marketing launch readiness for NG911, Mapping, cloud, and AI-related releases by preparing core launch materials
  • Coordinate launch enablement sessions and supporting materials for Sales, Solutions Engineers, and channel partners
  • Create and maintain core enablement assets for both direct sales and partners, including pitch decks, battlecards, objection-handling guidance, demo talk tracks, and competitive comparisons
  • Support partner readiness through targeted enablement materials, training sessions, and field-facing guidance for strategic pursuits involving cloud call handling and AI-enabled solutions
  • Update messaging and enablement based on customer and partner adoption patterns, competitive changes, and ongoing field feedback

Content Creation & Thought Leadership

  • Developing case studies, blog posts, trade magazine articles and interviews, and acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Attending tradeshows and conference, present thought leadership initiatives to differentiate the Command Center portfolio in the market and position Intrado as a leader in the Public Safety industry
  • Develop customer and partner proof points that demonstrate the value of cloud adoption and AI-enabled capabilities, including case studies, webinars, and conference presentations
  • Lead messaging and content for key industry conferences and events, ensuring consistent representation of NG911, cloud call handling, and AI strategy

Analysis & Optimization

  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs by conducting win/loss analysis and monitoring other key success metrics

Qualifications:

-**Education:**Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience -**Experience:**7+ years of experience in technical product marketing, product management, or a related role, preferably within public safety, government technology, telecommunications, SaaS, or other cloud-delivered, mission-critical environments.

  • Ability to translate complex NG911 and command center systems into compelling customer value propositions.

  • Demonstrated experience producing high-impact product marketing and sales enablement assets for public safety and emergency communications audiences.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across executive and operational audiences.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.

  • Public Safety experience, especially across enterprises, command centers, and educational institutions, is a strong plus.

  • Experienced in utilizing modern AI/LLM platforms to increase productivity and shorten timelines.

The starting salary is anticipated between $130,000 and $160,000 CAD and will be commensurate with experience.
