POSITION Structural Civil Engineer
LOCATION Private Royal Estate | UAE
The Client will arrange work visa and relocation if not local, where applicable
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Structural Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, assessing, and supervising the implementation and maintenance of all structural and civil elements across a prestigious private estate. The role ensures the integrity, safety, durability, and aesthetic excellence of villas, staff accommodations, infrastructure, retaining walls, utility buildings, and specialty structures, while adhering to UAE building codes and luxury estate standards.
Qualifications / Certifications / Licenses
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering (mandatory)
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering - preferred
- Professional Engineering License (PE or equivalent) - preferred
- Proficiency in ACI, BS, Eurocodes, or UAE structural design standards
- Valid UAE Driving License - preferred for site supervision
Experience
- 5-7 years' experience in structural design and site supervision
- Experience within high-end residential, luxury villas, private estates, or hospitality projects (UAE/GCC preferred)
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams including MEP, landscaping, and architectural integration
- Proven experience in foundation design, load calculations, retrofitting, and structural repairs
- Experience supporting both new construction and renovation projects
Key Skills & Knowledge Structural Design & Analysis
- Design of reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry structures
- Conduct load assessments, seismic analysis, and stability evaluations
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure
- Apply structural optimisation techniques for cost-efficiency and safety
Site Supervision & Inspection
- Supervise structural works during construction and renovations
- Monitor quality of materials and workmanship
- Prepare daily progress reports and non-conformance documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to approved structural drawings
Technical Documentation & Drawings
- Prepare and review structural drawings and BOQs
- Review method statements and contractor technical submissions
- Maintain accurate as-built and redline drawings
- Coordinate modifications with consultants and CAD teams
Coordination & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers
- Advise procurement teams on structural material suitability
- Recommend cost-effective structural solutions without compromising quality
- Support maintenance teams with technical guidance
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE municipality and Civil Defence regulations
- Prepare documentation for permits and structural approvals
- Conduct structural integrity reporting and audits
Problem Solving & Maintenance Support
- Assess structural issues including cracks, corrosion, and settlement
- Design reinforcement or repair strategies
- Provide urgent structural support when required
- Ensure long-term structural durability of estate assets
START DATE ASAP
SALARY AED 4,000 - 8,000 - Depending on experience
