About the Job

Are you ready to take your heavy equipment skills to the next level in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We’re looking for several Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Ridgemont Quarry team and operate a variety of machines including—but not limited to—Haul Trucks, Loaders, and Excavators.

If you enjoy variety in your workday, rotating between equipment and tasks, and being part of a team that keeps operations moving smoothly—this could be the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role goes beyond just operating machines. As part of our crew, you’ll play a key role in keeping our quarry operations running efficiently and safely.

You’ll:

  • Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively in a pit or quarry setting
  • Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling buildup around or inside processing equipment
  • Assist with basic repairs and maintenance, including Clipping conveyor belting and replacing rollers, bearings, drive belts, and screens

Here’s What You Need

  • Experience operating and understanding heavy equipment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
  • Prior work in a quarry or sand & gravel pit is highly preferred
  • Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude Common Core training is an asset
