Job Description
We are seeking a Project Accountant to play a key role in supporting the financial success of our IPD and Joint Venture projects. This position is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate project billing, and providing financial administration support to project teams. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Coordinators, and IPD Partners to maintain consistency across projects and help achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and manage the accounts payable inbox.
- Prepare bi-weekly EFT and credit card payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate financial records.
- Complete accounts payable and receivable administrative tasks, including filing and record keeping.
- Post project-related costs in line with contract requirements.
- Prepare and submit monthly billing packages with required backup.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Accounting, and IPD Partners to ensure timely, accurate billing.
- Set up, track, and follow up on insurance requirements for IPD projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and team needs.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- A certificate or diploma in Business Administration or Accounting, or 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong data entry skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
