Our mission is to empower customers through reliable, intuitive digital-first services that "just work".
Role Overview We are looking for a tech-savvy, curious, and driven undergraduate student to support our Agile squad. This is a unique hybrid role where you will wear multiple hats—ranging from Quality Assurance (QA) and Content Management to light Development. You will work closely with our Digital Product Manager, UI Designer, and Developers, gaining hands-on experience in how a modern digital product team operates.
Key Responsibilities
- QA & Testing: Act as a quality champion by testing new functionalities and features to ensure they meet requirements and provide a seamless user experience before release.
- Content Management: Take ownership of content updates and maintenance tasks for the oxio.ca website using our CMS.
- Development Support: Collaborate with our frontend and full-stack developers to tackle smaller, less complex coding tasks (exposure to modern stacks like NextJS).
- Squad Collaboration: Assist with backlog organization, design asset preparation, and daily workflow management.
- Agile Participation: Join us for our ceremonies, such as the daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and showcases, to learn how we deliver value iteratively.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Technology, or related field).
- Technical Basics: Basic understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is highly preferred.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail that catches bugs during testing and ensures content accuracy.
- Curious & Collaborative: You are eager to learn on the job and comfortable asking questions in a collaborative team environment.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate clearly with both technical developers and non-technical team members.
Why Join Us?
- Real Impact: You won't just be fetching coffee; you will help ship features that real customers use every day.
- Mentorship: Work side-by-side with experienced developers and product leaders who are dedicated to your growth.
- Culture: Experience a workplace that prioritizes transparency and simplicity.
