About the role
Assignment:

Grounds/Maintenance Summer students, three (3) positions available
-
Duties to commence May 1, 2026 and continue until August 30, 2026
-
Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (start times may vary)
-
Duties to include: Operating push mowers, riding mowers, string trimmers, edging sidewalks and pathways, cleaning up grass clippings and debris, assisting with general grounds and landscaping tasks.
Applicant Requirements:

Require a valid class 5 drivers license and steel toe boots
-
Be at least 16 years of age
-
Ability to preform physical outdoor
-
Reliable and able to work independently in addition to working within the facilities team

Ability to work in varying weather conditions
-
Reside and/or attend school in Alberta, with an Alberta mailing address

Current Criminal Record Check, within six (6) months Ability to follow safety procedures and use required PPE.

Returning to high school or a post-secondary institution no later than November 1, 2026

Available for full-time summer employment
