Canadian Tire Kanata is hiringGarden Centre Associatesfor the spring/summer season. If you enjoy plants, gardening, and helping customers while being active and on your feet, this is the role for you.
###What You’ll Do
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service in the Garden Centre
- Assist customers with plant care, product selection, and gardening solutions
- Load heavy items such as soil, mulch, and bagged products into customer vehicles
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
- Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise efficiently
- Water and care for plants, ensuring all live goods are healthy and sale-ready
- Follow store safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
###What We’re Looking For
- Genuine interest in plants, gardening, or outdoor living
- Experience in retail, customer service, or horticulture is an asset
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy products (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends)
- Team player with good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
