We are currently seeking a bilingual Senior Technical Representative to join our Mining group. In this role, you will support the commercial team in delivering technical value to our customers and expanding our presence in the precious metals extraction market, with a strong focus on gold. Working closely with the commercial team, you will frequently travel to customer sites to support plant trials, troubleshoot operational challenges, analyze technical data and reports, and stay ahead of emerging industry trends.

Here are some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Technical Representative:
- Serve as the team’s subject matter expert when it comes to gold leaching and NaCN destruction.
- Support the Account Managers and Product Managers in their efforts to increase market share in the precious metal extraction market.
- Evaluate the technical needs and opportunities at qualified prospect and customer sites.
- Perform bench scale metallurgical laboratory work at customer sites and at third party laboratories.
- Supporting and participate in plant trials at customer opertations.
- Provide meaningful value-based technical support at customer site or remotely.
- Write and author analytical reports which are to be customer facing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to review, present, and communicate project results to both customers and Quadra’s commercial team.
- Document and quantify the value generated for customers, and collaborate with the marketing team to showcase results through the website, social media, and joint presentations at CMP/SME industry events.
- Participate in customer technical training seminars and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Conduct joint customer visits and calls with the commercial team and suppliers.
- Maintain fully detailed records of customer contacts, call reports to be entered into our CRM within a timely manner
- Stay informed on advancements in mining technologies, industry trends, and competitive activities, and report customer feedback, satisfaction levels, and concerns.
- Maintain awareness of competitor products and market positioning.
- Participate in training programs, seminars, and industry conventions to continuously strengthen technical expertise.

What are the requirements needed for this role?:
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in mineral processing
- Demonstrated experience in gold leaching and cyanide (NaCN) destruction processes and operations
- Hands-on experience supporting plant trials, metallurgical test work, and process optimization.
- Knowledge of the technical application of chemicals and reagents used in the mineral processing industry would be an asset
- Knowledge of mining industry trends, metallurgical technologies, and competitive products is an asset.
- Strong ability to analyze metallurgical data and translate results into practical operational recommendations.
- Bilingualism (French/English) spoken and written is required for this role
- Willing to travel at least 50% of the time; you must have a valid driver's license and passport
- Meticulousness in data collection, documentation, and analysis
- Being a team player and contributing positively to team dynamics is important for achieving collective goals
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to use multiple digital platforms; an experience with a CRM (Salesforce) system would be an asset
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight, up to 40% of the time (including overnight stay and international travel) to mining sites and customer operations.
- Valid passport and driver’s license

Compensation Information : The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be between $101,175.00 and $178.350.00. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and full benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
