About the role
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Membership, the incumbent performs administrative duties related to the maintenance of members and their membership. The incumbent provides detailed-oriented skills in relation to the membership system to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the association’s database.

66 Slater Street, Suite 1200 Ottawa, ON
Languages
The CBA delivers services in both of Canada’s official languages. Fluent bilingual skills, both written and oral, are preferred.
Annual Salary
$ 20.82 per hour
Responsibilities
- Process membership profile updates as needed
- Data input and reporting as required
- Administration of the membership renewal program, including the processing of membership renewal invoices
- Maintain and update both financial and demographic information and ensure data protocols and policies are adhered to.
- Provide support to Membership Service Representatives
- Other related administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
Skills and Abilities
- Good understanding of customer service, basic computer skills, and basic accounting
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge and basic understanding of utilizing member/customer databases
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to take direction, work independently, plan, organize, and prioritize workloads
