About the role
Job title: ERP Application Specialist (Sage X3)
Duration: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract
Role status: Current opening
Location - Scarborough, Ontario
Work Model - Hybrid, 3 days in office
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:
· Support the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Sage X3 across multiple business units, with a focus on manufacturing and warehouse operations.
· Partner with operations, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams to design and enhance system workflows that improve efficiency and standardization.
· Configure workflows, reports, and dashboards to align with organizational and operational requirements.
· Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation from legacy systems into Sage X3.
· Identify process gaps and recommend system-driven solutions to support consistent practices across entities.
· Collaborate with internal IT stakeholders and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
· Develop and maintain documentation including system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
· Provide training and ongoing support for key Sage X3 modules, including Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and WMS.
· Support integrations between Sage X3 and other internal or third-party applications.
· Participate in system testing (UAT), change management, and rollout activities.

Qualifications and pre-requisites:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience implementing and supporting Sage X3 ERP.
· Strong functional knowledge of Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse Management modules.
· Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, and operational workflows.
· Experience working within multi-entity environments.
· Hands-on experience with data migration, system configuration, and end-user support.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Effective communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
Nice to have:
· Experience with warehouse management systems or related tools.
· Exposure to integrations, automation, or reporting tools (e.g., SQL, BI platforms).
· Familiarity with process improvement or lean methodologies.
