International and Exchange Student Advisor - Job Reference #202509-03C
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Manager of King’s International, the International and Exchange Student Advisor will:
-
Provide support for incoming exchange and international students and for outgoing exchange/ study abroad/ internship and other international learning program participants.
-
Provide advice and support to degree seeking and exchange students on immigration regulation inquiries and concerns.
-
Support the Manager of King’s International with operational aspects of intercultural education and support programs for incoming international and exchange students and outgoing exchange students.

Assist in service and promotional functions for International Student Services, Exchange/ Experiential learning and intercultural learning.

Overseeing the work of International Work Experience (I.W.E.) and work/study employees, as well as student volunteers.

Communicates with international partners concerning exchange deadlines and exchange student eligibility requirements.

Provides immigration advising services for international students, both degree seeking and visiting students, regarding visa and study permits, post-graduation work permit, and any other immigration related matters.

Coordinates the Global Ambassadors Program (selection, training and supervision of participants) in support of international mobility programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors’/ Honours’ Degree with International Education components required.

A minimum of 2 years of previous relevant experience.

Member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship
-
Consultants (CICC) as a Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA), or Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism.
TYPE OF JOB:
Full-Time Contract (35 hours per week), until May 7, 2027.
JOB AVAILABILITY:
Existing vacancy.
EFFECTIVE DATE:
As soon as possible.
SALARY RANGE:
$66,475 to $83,236 (PSG12) per annum, dependent on experience.
