ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position will be the primary point of contact for all Deposits related analytics and reporting. This role

requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate cross-functionally and deliver compelling and insightful

reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analytics and reporting functions for Deposits

and will be expected to bring a high level of expertise and a proactive approach to analytics and reporting,

ensuring that the deposits business is well-positioned to meet its strategic goals.

In addition:

  • Support the translation of the team’s vision into actionable insights and plans using analytics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the deposits product and portfolio to support Deposit initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Data & Technology, Deposit Operations, and Digital & Strategy to assist in solving business challenges and delivering analytical solutions.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining best practices for data management and analytics processes, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, quality, and reliability.

  • Contribute to the collection, definition, and interpretation of datasets, ensuring the accuracy of data models, dashboards, and reports.

  • Maintain existing reports and dashboards, assist in transforming complex data into actionable insights for key stakeholders

  • Ensure adherence to HTC policies and procedures (i.e. privacy protection, AML) when servicing clients/brokers and performing account maintenance

  • Understand regulatory and compliance requirements that include, but are not limited to, Anti-Money and Privacy Act provisions in accordance with Bank Policies & Procedures and take appropriate action

  • Keep up to date on changes to, processes, P&P and technologies ensuring adherence to bank guideline

  • Solicit and monitor client feedback, identify gaps, provide timely solutions to enhance the overall client experience

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, peers and leaders across the organization to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

  • Occasionally train end users to operate new or modified programs.

  • Provide ongoing support to team.

  • All other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

  • Authorized to work in Canada

  • Excellent written / verbal communication and professional maturity

  • University degree in business management, finance, or data analytics.

  • Additional relevant accreditation(s), certification(s) are strong assets.

  • Over 3 years of experience in analytics and reporting within the financial services industry.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and software such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Advanced Excel.

  • Ability to translate complex data into strategic insights for various audiences.

  • Knowledge of investment products

  • Strong organizational, time-management, strategic thinking, research/ analysis and attention to detail to source/ interpret complex data and drive fact-based analysis.

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal relationship building and listening skills.

  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Excellent written / verbal communication and professional maturity.

  • Consistently demonstrates and reinforces organizational values
