About the role
Our client, a recognized training center in the field of truck transportation in Quebec, is currently seeking a Transportation Instructor who is passionate about knowledge sharing and developing the next generation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for training future drivers by combining classroom-based theoretical instruction with practical, on-the-road training (in-cab instruction).
Reporting to the educational team, the selected individual will actively participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training programs, while contributing to the quality and continuous improvement of learning outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, plan, and structure theoretical and practical courses.
- Teach concepts related to truck driving and road safety.
- Support and supervise students during practical activities and internships.
- Evaluate learning progress and monitor student performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching tools.
- Apply and teach transportation regulations.
- Create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with the educational team to ensure consistency in training programs.
- Perform any other related duties.

Requirements:
- High school diploma (DES) or recognized equivalent (AENS, TENS).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in truck driving within the last 10 years.
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
- Driving record with 4 demerit points or fewer (SAAQ).
- Vocational diploma (DEP) in truck transportation (an asset; prior learning recognition possible).
- Required enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in vocational education (with partial recognition of prior learning possible).
- Excellent knowledge of transportation regulations..
- Strong communication, teaching, and group management skills.
- Proficiency with digital tools (an asset).
- Leadership, patience, and ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
Salary: $80,000 per year.
Schedule: Daytime, 4 days per week (32 hours per week).
Status: Permanent.
